BEYOND THE BOOTH
Julia is also a singer/songwriter, NAACP-nominated L.A. theater director, voice coach, and mentor.
She ran the Malibu Playhouse, served as a Malibu Arts Commissioner, and directed a renowned children’s theater.
Additionally, she founded an environmental nonprofit that mixed music, theater, and kids.
Julia has salsa danced through L.A., toured with a dance troupe called the Dangerous Curves (yes, really), worked as a recording artist, and bartended like every good artist should. She has traveled through vibrant corners of the world which shaped her sense of story, humor, and humanity.
She records steps from the Pacific, splitting her time between the studio and the garden, alongside her dog and a surprisingly charismatic desert tortoise.
